The south american country, famous for its Caribbean Travel Destinations as Cartagena de Indias or San Andres Island has lifted (almost) all restrictions to international travel.

Colombia COVID travel restrictions

Travelers arriving to Colombia are no longer required to obtain a negative COVID test to enter the country. Passengers must still complete the “Colombia’s Check-Mig immigration form” in advance of departure and/or arrival and follow other protocols upon arrival such as mask-wearing. This includes reporting to the Colombian Government any flu-like symptoms that occur within 14 days of arrival in Colombia. Personal biosecurity measures such as mask-wearing and social distancing are also required in airports.

Increase of international flights to Colombia

Colombia already surpasses the volume of international air routes operated in 2019. This year, 12 airlines announced the entry into operation of 31 new international routes, a number that surpasses the one registered before of the pandemic, when 17 new air connections came into operation.

During 2021, the country opened connections with the cities of Punta Cana (Dominican Republic); New York, Orlando and Newark (United States); Cancun and Mexico City (Mexico); Lima (Peru); and also with Montreal (Canada) and Santiago (Chile).
